Break the Tunnelvision

This project was made possible by Jong Haarlem youth work organisation. 

Children from the neighbourhood spent two days helping with the painting.

In the design, we reflect the situations in the tunnel in a positive way. 'Break the tunnel vision' is meant to make people look around and be open for new insights. The painting also incorporates bits and pieces from local residents and my own memories.

Like skating downstairs, the 'does lief' someone wrote on the wall before, and Bo, the dog in the cargo bike that came tearing past every day. This approach created more interaction with the piece and its surrounding, which is very well received by the residents.
